Today for Show and Tell, I've brought a tiny marvel of nature: a single snowflake. I think we might all learn a lesson from how this utterly unique and exquisite crystal turns into an ordinary, boring molecule of water, just like every other one, when you bring it in the classroom. Holy Sheet
Jared who is 5, reads, writes and spells pretty well. He came to me with his doodleboard and said, "look mom, I wrote holy sheet."
I had a hard time not bursting out laughing because he wrote *Holy Shit* and I thought it was pretty funny.
Yep - I'm that kind of mom too - I like it that way though. It is funny. Why are we "supposed" to act like we have a stick in our hiney, or just took a big suck off of a lemon.

We still giggle (all of us) at cuss words. Someone will let one fly and someone else will start laughing. Sure dispels the myth of "bad" words.
